MINNEAPOLIS -- The senior duo of Sam Duffing and Jack Rosner topped the St. Thomas indoor 60-meter hurdle record Friday as the men's and women's teams wrapped up their regular season at the Snowshoe Open hosted by the University of Minnesota.

· Jack Rosner set the new standard in the 60m hurdles during the prelims with a time of 7.95, finishing first in the heat. He followed it up with a time of 7.98 in the finals to take second, both times beating his school record of 8.05.
· Sam Duffing qualified for finals in the event with a time of 8.12 during prelims. He beat his season best time from the prelims, and his career best and program record of 8.05, with a time of 8.00 to take fourth.
Top 10 for Three
· Morgan Koppelman attempted a school record jump in the pole vault on Friday before finishing third in the event with a personal best 3.74 meters, which ranks second on the women's all-time list.
· Hannah Cornelius took third in the 60-meter dash Friday in a personal best 7.65, which ties Alexis Pratt for fourth best in indoor program history.

QUOTABLES
Men's Head Coach Pete Wareham:
"We had a partial team competing at the U of M with the goal of fine-tuning and preparing for the Summit League Championship. Our guys did a great job. They built momentum (Friday). This included many personal best performances, including Sam Duffing and Jack Rosner breaking the previous school record in the 60-meter hurdles. Jack is the first athlete to break the 8.0 second barrier in the event and he did it in both the prelims and finals. Adam Lueth had strong 3,000-meter performance moving into a scoring position for the league championship.
"I was also impressed with the team's commitment to each other and that kind of team support is a big deal as it helps everyone improve. We are now looking forward to the indoor championship and bringing our best."
Women's Head Coach Ashley Lucas:
"It was a great tune-up for us. We held some of our conference roster out and challenged the others to show why they should go to conference. There were, again, a lot of great performances highlighted by Morgan Koppelman in the pole vault, Hannah Cornelius in the 60-meter dash and Lillian Allen PR'ing in the hurdles, long jump and tying her high jump personal record. There were also a ton of personal bests and steps in the right direction across the board event wise. As we head into conference, we are excited for what lies ahead for the Tommies."
