Tommies earn wins over Bradley and Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The St. Thomas tennis team traveled to Wisconsin, playing Bradley and Milwaukee in a set of Saturday matches.
The Tommies swept their Saturday competition, picking up three wins on the road over the weekend.
vs BRADLEY (Win, 4-0)
The Tommies defeated Bradley 4-0 in match one on Saturday. The Tommies earned the point in doubles, followed by three victories in singles action to defeat the Braves.
Winning her duos competition and singles match, Marthe Degeorges went undefeated against Bradley.
vs Milwaukee (Win, 4-1)
In the first match up between the two squads, St. Thomas earned a 4-1 victory over the Panthers.
Degeorges continued her undefeated streak. The senior won her doubles match with Regina Talavera (6-2), and went on to win her singles battle on Saturday afternoon (6-4, 6-2).
Anna Sidorenko (7-5, 6-3) and Lily Olson (7-5, 6-2) also picked up wins for the Purple, lifting the Tommies to a victory over Milwaukee.
