The Tommie captain scored three goals against the Wildcats
ST. PAUL, Minn. – It was only a matter of time before Lucas Wahlin earned his third career CCHA Forward of the Week honor. It took a three-goal weekend in a road series sweep of the Northern Michigan Wildcats, but the conference's all-time leader in points is the CCHA FOTW.
Wahlin scored his 10th and 11th goals on Friday in the Toms' 2-0 win over the Wildcats. He added his 12th of the season with just over one second remaining in regulation in their 4-3 win on Saturday.
The Woodbury, Minn. native is the tied for the team lead in goals and second with 18 points. 11 of his 12 goals have come shorthanded or at even strength, the most among CCHA skaters.
Wahlin is the second Tommie to receive Forward of the Week this season (Alex Gaffney, 10/20) and the eighth to earn any weekly honor. His three FOTWs are one behind Liam Malmquist for the most in program history.

St. Thomas is done for 2025; they finished the calendar year with a program-best 24-11-4 record. They return home to play the Ferris State Bulldogs on Friday, January 2nd and Saturday, January 3rd at 7:07 and 6:07, respectively.
