St. Thomas unveils 2026 Indoor Track & Field schedule

Tommies to compete at 10 meets starting Dec. 5-6 weekend
ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas Track & Field has unveiled its 2026 indoor competition schedule, featuring nine meets highlighted by multiple trips across the Upper Midwest and one home event inside the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex.
The Tommies, led by men's head coach Pete Wareham and women's head coach Ashley Lucas, open the indoor season Dec. 5-6 at the M City Indoor Classic in Minneapolis, hosted by the University of Minnesota. Following the holiday break, St. Thomas returns home Jan. 16 to host the St. Thomas Indoor Invitational at the AARC Fieldhouse.
The Tommies continue their road slate Jan. 24 at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet in Brookings, S.D., before heading to Mankato for the Mark Schuck Open & Multi on Jan. 30-31. February features a busy stretch that includes the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite & Multi (Feb. 6-7) in Lincoln, Neb., the Goper Classic in Minneapolis (Feb. 7), the SDSU Indoor Classic (Feb. 13-14) in Brookings, and the Snowshoe Open (Feb. 20) in Minneapolis.
Championship season begins Feb. 27-28 as St. Thomas travels to Grand Forks, N.D., for the Summit League Indoor Championships, hosted by North Dakota. Qualifying student-athletes will then advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Tommies' 2026 outdoor schedule will be announced in late fall or early winter.
