Chase Cheslock named CCHA Defenseman of the Week

The junior recorded a pair of assists in the Tommies’ win over St. Cloud State on Saturday.
ST. PAUL, Minn. – After a pair of assists on Saturday, including on the game-winning goal, junior Chase Cheslock has been named CCHA Defenseman of the Week by the league office. This is the first conference honor for Cheslock.
The Rogers, Minn. native, assisted on St. Thomas' third goal in the second period and then at 15:05 in the third on Nathan Pilling's game-winner. Cheslock played major minutes on the Tommies' top pair with Nick Williams, and also on the power play.
Cheslock is the first Tommie defenseman to receive the weekly honor since Mason Poolman on October 14 of 2024. This is only the fourth time a Tommie has received the honor, Chelsock is preceded by the aforementioned Poolman, Ethan Gauer, and Trevor Zins.
