Rowe named Summit League Kwik Star Defensive Peak Performer of the Week

Rowe earns second Peak Performer honor of career

ST. PAUL, MINN.- Graduate student Olivia Rowe has been named the Kwik Star Defensive Women's Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.  

 

The Ramsey, Minn. native only allowed two goals in the Tommies back-to-back 1-1 ties this week. Rowe tallied seven saves against Denver and another seven against North Dakota State for 14 on the week. 

 

Rowe has played all 1350 minutes in goal for the Purple this season and leads the Summit League in saves per game with a 6.53 average. She sits fourth in total saves with 98 and fifth in shutouts with four. 

 

Coach Sheila McGill and the Tommies will finish the regular season at home on Sunday, October 26th against the North Dakota State Fighting Hawks.
