Olivia Keller ties program record in long jump set in 2005
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Junior Olivia Keller matched the St. Thomas women's program record in the long jump with a leap of 5.85m Friday at the St. Thomas Invitational, held at the Anderson Recreation Complex. The meet featured teams from Augsburg, Hamline, Northwestern (MN), and St. Cloud State, with the Tommies recording 17 event wins and 10 top-10 program marks across men's and women's events.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Junior Olivia Keller tied the program record in the long jump with a winning distance of 5.85m and led a podium sweep for St. Thomas in the event. Freshman Danika Apple claimed victory in the 60m dash with a time of 7.62 seconds, the second-fastest in program history. Senior Josie Liebl tied for seventh all-time in the high jump, clearing 1.64m to win the event, and took second in the 200m dash. Freshman Christina Driver added another top-10 mark, placing first in the triple jump with a distance of 11.36m, the seventh-best in program history.

- Hannah Cornelius: Ran 7.74 seconds in the 60m dash prelims, ranking fourth all-time.
- Rachel Kleinhans: First in the 60m hurdles (9.31).
- Emily Baker: Won the mile run (5:22.19).
- Olivia Passeri: First in the pole vault (3.37m).
- Lauren Rott: Won the shot put with a throw of 12.71m.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Senior Isaiah Hopf delivered two top-10 performances, tying for fifth all-time in the 60m dash (6.88) and for seventh in the long jump (7.18m), win the long jump and taking second in the 60m dash. Freshman Braeden Brouwer won the 200m dash in 22.84 seconds, tying for 10th all-time in the 60m dash finals (6.96). Junior Brendan Harter tied for eighth in program history in the high jump, clearing 2.03m to win the event.
Additional highlights included:
- Maki Whelan: First in the 60m hurdles (8.50).
- Blake Burnstad: Won the 600m run (1:21.92), ranking 10th all-time.
- Ben Stricker: First in the mile run (4:26.77).
UP NEXT
The Tommies split up for its next day of action Friday, Jan. 24, as members of the men's and women's programs will travel to the Cyclone Open hosted by Iowa State in Ames, Iowa and the Jack Johnson Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
