James Marooney signs with Adirondack Thunder

Marooney will join the ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, after a season with the Purple.
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder announced that they have signed fifth year defenseman James Marooney to a standard player contract after 95 games at the collegiate level between Ohio State and St. Thomas with one goal, 19 assists, and 20 points.
The Chaska, Minn. native skated in 15 games for the Tommies and added five assists and a +5 rating from the blue line.
The Adirondack Thunder are the proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New Jersey Devils and finished in first place in the Eastern Conference with a 43-18-7 record for 97 points during the 2023-24 season.
