Men’s Soccer Announces Full 2024 Schedule

The Tommies set to play nine matches on South Field
ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas men's soccer has released its complete 2024 schedule, which features five non-conference home matches as part of a 16-match slate.
After a preseason contest against Northeast CC on Aug. 17, the Tommies open the 2024 regular season hosting Northern Illinois on Aug. 22, followed by six additional non-conference matches in the first month of the season. The Toms' eight non-conference match ups consist of opponents from seven different conferences including the Big East, Horizon League, and Mid-American Conference.
"We couldn't be more excited to play what I feel is a balanced and well-timed schedule against quality opponents representing top conferences," Coach Lowery explained. "For the first time we will open at home and play nine total matches on South Field. An exciting time for our growing program."
St. Thomas opens its eight-game Summit League schedule against Kansas City at South Field on Sept. 28. The Tommies will face each conference opponent twice throughout the fall season. St. Thomas will complete the season welcoming Omaha, the defending Summit League tournament champions to St. Paul on Nov. 2.
Lowery is starting his 13th season leading Tommie Men's Soccer. He coached his 200th game at St. Thomas in 2022, and holds the longest tenure at his school among Summit League men's soccer head coaches. Over his last four Division III seasons, Lowery guided St. Thomas to a 70-12-8 record. His first three Division I teams have shown progress while navigating the D-I learning curve. Those three teams combined to post nine wins and seven ties while battling to 14 one-goal losses.
