Women’s Tennis defeats Bradley in match one of the weekend, 4-2

The Tommies remain undefeated with a victory over the Braves on the road
CHICAGO -- The St. Thomas women's tennis team traveled for the first time this season, facing Bradley in Chicago on Saturday morning.
The Tommies defeated the Braves 4-2, remaining undefeated to start the 2024 season.
RECAP
St. Thomas started the weekend road trip with a win over Bradley on Saturday morning.
The doubles pairings of Olivia Paradise and Yinong Ma (6-4), and Marthe Degeorges and Naisha Srivastav (7-6, 8-6) earned wins in doubles play against the Braves.
Caroline Lindahl and Jannah ElNemr fell in a close doubles match, falling in an extra set 6-7, 2-7.
At the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles spots Lindahl (6-4, 6-1), Paradise (6-4, 6-1) and Ma (7-5, 6-2) lifted the Tommies to a 4-2 victory, earning match wins in singles play.
TOP TOMMIES
- The doubles pair of Olivia Paradise and Yinong Ma earned a doubles win, as well as victories in their singles matches, going undefeated on Saturday morning.
- The St. Thomas women's tennis has surpassed their win total from a season ago, earning three wins against non-conference opponents to start the season.
