PALM DESERT, Calif. – The University of St. Thomas Women's Golf team finished in second place of eight teams after falling in the final round to Northern Arizona, three matchups to two at the Mountain Classic on Wednesday.
Kathryn VanArragon continued her impressive stretch with another victory, bringing her tournament record to an unbeaten 2-0-1. She won her head-to-head by five holes and carded a -3 in just fourteen holes played. She birdied four holes, including holes nine, 10, and 12, parred nine holes, and finished with just one bogey. The freshman shot a -8 over the course of 47 holes across three days of competition.
