Women’s Golf heads to the Pay It Forward Collegiate in Arizona

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Fresh off a bounce back performance at the Jackrabbit Invitational, St. Thomas women's golf is off to Litchfield Park, Arizona for the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate co-hosted by the University of Minnesota and St. Thomas at the Wigwam Resort. The three round tournament starts with 36 holes on Monday, March 23 and concludes the following afternoon.

This is the Tommies' first trip to this event in program history.

St. Thomas women's golf surged two spots in the final round to secure a fourth-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational, held at Boulder Creek Golf Course.

Senior Emma Davies paced the Tommies with an eighth-place finish, while freshman Karen Lind Stefansdottir delivered the highlight of the tournament with a bogey-free, five-under-par 67 in Tuesday's final round, the lowest round of the event and one of the best in program history.
