Summit League Preseason Poll
On January 9th, the Summit League released the 2024 Preseason Coaches' Poll and Athletes to watch list. After finishing seventh a season ago, the Tommies were picked to finish seventh in the Summit League preseason poll.

Defending Summit League champion Denver is the pick among league head coaches to win the Summit League 2024 regular season title.

Marthe Degeorges was named to the Summit League's Preseason athletes to watch list, as announced by the League's office on Tuesday.  Last season, the Tommie junior collected All-League first team honors after compiling a 10-6 dual singles record, including 10-5 at the top spot. Degeorges finished the 2023 season 5-2 in league play and 2-7 in doubles overall.

Spring Schedule
The Tommie Tennis spring season will consist of 21 matches, including seven at home. Summit League play begins for the Tommies when they host Denver on March 2. The Purple will face off with six Summit League opponents, consisting of three home and three away matches.

The Tommies will be road warriors the back half of the season, playing the final seven of eight matches on the road. During this time the Tommies will travel down to Louisiana and Mississippi to play four non-conference opponents.

The Tommies return seven letter winners from a season ago and bring in two newcomers. Junior Marthe Degeorges was among 12 players named to the All-Summit League team in women's tennis for 2023 after she won 10 contests at first singles. Junior Tentu Shrichandrakala has nine doubles wins and eight singles wins in her two-year career with the Tommies.
