Tommies rallied to jump five teams behind the second-best round score amongst 13 competitors.
DES MOINES, Iowa – Will Frazier (+6) and Matthew Armstrong (+7) led the way during the final 18 holes, with each golfer finishing one stroke under par, as St. Thomas jumped from 10th place to 6th of the 13-team field during the final 18 holes.
As a team, the Toms recovered from a rough first day and dropped their scores from 296 and 295 to a season-low 284 during the final round. They finished six strokes out of the top five.
Frazier and Armstrong each finished the final round with a 70 (-1), and the team saw four golfers finish in the top 35 of the 77-player tournament.
Owen Rexing and Will Frazier topped the Tommies three-round score in 26th place with a (+6) over 54 holes. Armstrong's (+7) landed him in the top 30 and Glavine Schugel and Gavin Newkirk each tied for 35th.

"It was a great response from yesterday's rounds. The hole locations were very difficult today and the guys made great decisions and excecuted. Having the second lowest round of the day gives us momentum heading into next weekend's tournament in Omaha.
