Fullerton, Calif. -- Tommie Women's Tennis dropped a 4-0 decision at Cal State Fullerton Thursday in non-conference play.
Fullerton (8-5), a 16-win team last season, won the doubles point as it took 6-1 and 6-0 wins at Nos. 1-3. There was an unfinished match at No. 2 doubles while leading 3-2 against the Purple's Naisha Srivatsav and Shrichandrakala Tentu.
The Titans secured the match victory by taking wins at Nos. 2-4-5 singles.
Two Tommies were competing well in singles when the team matches ended with the fourth points. At No. 1 Marthe Degeorges and Tentu at No. 3 each were locked in a 6-6 score in the first set of their respective matches. Both went unfinished as Fullerton had a second match scheduled today.
The Purple (1-12) have nine days off before playing North Dakota in Summit League play at home indoors in Bloomington on Sunday April 2.
