Parker Feuerborn continued his excellent 2022 calendar year
Feuerborn sets Hamline meet record in hammer throw

St. Paul, Minn. - Senior Parker Feuerborn broke a meet record in the hammer throw with a best of 197-4 on Saturday to lead St. Thomas Track and Field with a partial squad at the Hamline Invitational. Minnesota Gopher Jon Lehman threw 196-2 in 2014 and the record stood the last eight years.
Feuerborn's hammer mark is seven feet off his career best recorded two weeks ago in Arizona. He also took second place in the discus at 147-4.
Sophomore Grady Clem won the high jump at 6-5.

Women's Highlights
Taynian Walgrave placed third of 25 athletes in the 100 hurdles in 14.44 and also placed second in the 200 dash in 25.62.
Freshman Hannah Cornelius placed first in the 400 dash (59.39).
Molly Reighard (63.85) and freshman Hailey Hindt (63.86) placed 2-3 in the 400 hurdles, a season best for Hindt.
Freshman Molly Desotell (4:42.06) and Olivia Moll (4:47.05) placed 4-8 in the 1,500.
In field events, Megan Gehrke placed fourth in the hammer throw (146-1); Hailey Shimon took third in the discus (125-1).; Alyssa Wallace took fourth in the javelin (110-3); Emma Potratz placed sixth in the shot put (36-9).
Coming Up
St. Thomas is off competition next weekend and will compete at home Wednesday April 13 in the Tom Cat Twilight meet at O'Shaughnessy Stadium.

- Matt Escher (153-8) and Nate Raddatz (152-8) placed 6-7 in the javelin;
- Nate Carlin (21.95) and Afram (22.49) placed 5-7 in the 200 dash, both career bests;
- Jack Rosner (58.01) and Erik Anderson (58.24) placed 7-8 in the 400 hurdles;
- Harris Anderson (15:11.86) placed eighth in the 5,000.
