Libby Helverson scored the game's only goal 3:05 into sudden-death overtime to lift host Drake to Sunday's1-0 win over St. Thomas in non-conference women's soccer play in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Tommies (1-2-1) were outshot 12-8 and used 21 players.
Drake (3-2-1), which had a previous win over Iowa State, had a 3-2 edge in shots on goal and a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
