Volleyball closes trip with four-set loss to Green Bay

Tommie Volleyball had a promising start to Saturday's road match at UW-Green Bay, but the momentum turned and the Phoenix pulled out a 3-1 victory over St. Thomas.
Green Bay (1-2) scored the final four points of set four to close out the win, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22.
Lauren Galvin had 12 kills, three aces and two blocks to lead the Purple. Carrie Rutledge added 16 digs and six kills; Grace Anetipa had eight digs and 13 assists; Eva Fitzgerald had three aces and 12 assists; and Ellie Dammann had seven blocks.
The Tommies (0-2) are scheduled to travel to San Antonio next weekend for three matches Friday and Saturday Sept. 3-4
