Offense can't get untracked in Men's Hockey road loss

Bowling Green scored an even-strength goal in each period and got an 18-save shutout from goalie Christian Stoever in Saturday night's 3-0 home defeat of St. Thomas in CCHA men's hockey play in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The Falcons (5-1-2 overall, 3-1 CCHA) killed off all eight Tommie power plays in the weekend sweep.
It was just the second shutout loss of the season for the Purple (1-11, 1-7). Peter Thome stopped 27 of 30 shots for St. Thomas.
The Toms get a much-needed bye week next weekend after playing 12 games over the last 36 days, including nine road games.
