In a battle of 5-1 teams, No. 4-ranked and host St. Thomas tied Gustavus 1-1 in two overtimes in Saturday's MIAC men's soccer match at South Field.
The Tommies extended their conference unbeaten streak to 16 matches.
Will Kidd's goal in the 42nd minute tied the game 1-1 for St. Thomas.
UST (5-11, 1-0-1 MIAC) was unable to convert a penalty-kick chance in the 78th minute, and later played the final 11 minuties of overtime with a man advantage but was unable to get the winning goal.
Tommie keeper Aidan Hogan made a leaping deflection in the first overtime to save a potential winning shot by the Gusties (5-1-1), one of his six saves on the day.
