It was the Tommies' 16th consecutive home victory.

St. Thomas (2-1) held the Bruins to 20 second-half points. The Toms outscored the Bruins 18-3 in the third quarter to erase a 37-32 halftime deficit. Junior Lucia Renikoff, who scored a career-high 20 points, sank a pair of treys to fuel the comeback.

Senior Maddie Wolkow had 10 points, five steals and three assists. Sophomore Sarah Krynski added seven rebounds and three assists off the bench.

George Fox (2-2) -- which finished 21-6 last season and is 84-10 over the last four seasons -- was led by Kaitlin Jamieson's 13 points and nine rebounds, and Tavin Headings' 11 points. The Bruins shot 60 percent from the floor in the first 20 minutes (15-of-24), but made only 23 percent in the second half (7-of-30).

George Fox started the fourth quarter with a 15-4 run to regain the lead at 55-54 with 3:55 to go.

But St. Thomas used points from five different players during a 9-0 run that sent the home team up 63-55 in the final 30 seconds.

The Tommies play Friday night at UW-Stevens Point and Saturday at Hamline.
