Men's Tennis falls in good battle at Carleton

Brendan O'Connell won a three-set victory at third singles but the Toms fell 8-1 on Friday to regionally ranked Carleton in conference men's tennis play in Northfield.
O'Connell won 7-5, 2-6, 10-8 over regionally-ranked Andrew Hwang.
The Knights (19-4 overall, 7-1 MIAC) won three three-set singles matches to pull away. Brian McCarthy, Dan Cooper and Mitch Blackey each won their first set at Nos. 1-2-6 singles but Carleton players stormed back to pull out all three wins.
The Tommies (10-5, 6-3) play May 4-5 in the MIAC playoffs.
