Men's Hockey falls 4-2 on road to Johnnies

The Tommie men's hockey team surrendured a short-handed goal early in period three and dropped a 4-2 decision to St. John's in a non-conference game Thursday night in St. Cloud.
The Johnnies (5-4-1) ended a five-game losing streak to UST (7-6-1).
St. Thomas fell behind 3-0 but went on to outshoot St. John's, 41-26. Michael Krieg and Alex Altenbernd scored second-period goal to cut the lead to 3-2.
The Tommies are away from competition until Jan. 5 when they play host to Bethel.
