Men's Hockey falls 3-2 to No. 2-rated Norwich

No. 2-ranked Norwich (6-0) scored with four minutes to play in regulation and recorded a 3-2 victory over St. Thomas (5-3-1) in men's hockey play Fridaynight in the Primelink Shootout in Northfield, Vt.
The Tommies face No. 5-ranked Plattsburgh Saturday in the consolation game. Plattsburgh fell 3-2 to No. 12-ranked Middlebury in Friday's other first-round game.
Drew Fielding stopped 33 of 36 shots in goal for the Tommies. Norwich took a 2-0 lead with goals in the first and second periods. Tyler Richter and Robbie Vannelli scored third-period goals to tie the game, but Norwich got the eventual game winner at 16:00 of period three.
