Plaza Open

The new Monahan Plaza just south of O'Shaughnessy Stadium is now open. Fans are invited to congregate there at 11 a.m. today with food, UST merchandise, and the redesigned Tommie action guide available for sale. New landscaping and sidewalks were added this summer in the lower Quad from the library on the east all the way to the front doors of the Anderson Student Center. That facility is still under construction but will open in January 2012.

Parking/Tailgating

In addition to the football game, incoming students will be moving into the residence halls this Saturday Sept. 3. There will be no access to the stadium or football game from the north side of campus (Selby Ave. from Cretin Ave. North to Cleveland Ave. North will be closed for move-in).

Football fans are encouraged to park free in the Anderson Parking Facility or elsewhere on the south campus of the University of St. Thomas and take the short walk to the stadium. The entrance for this free parking is at the intersection of Grand Ave. and Cretin Ave. Surrounding the campus, most of the streets require a residential permit.
