WBB's Rachel Booth shares MIAC weekly honor

St. Thomas center Rachel Booth (JR-Minneapolis/DeLaSalle) Monday was named
co-Player of the Week in MIAC women's basketball. Bethel freshman Scotti Moatts shared the award.
Booth continued her strong inside play to help the Toms go 2-0 and continue their quest for a top-three MIAC finish. In Saturday's comeback win over Macalester in overtime, she had 24 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks and scored the tying points with 19 seconds left in regulation. She also had 15 points, six rebounds and four blocks in just 22 minutes in a 25-point road win at Augsburg.
Booth leads the MIAC in rebounds and blocked shots and is third in scoring. The Toms are 9-1 this season when Booth scores 14 or more points.
