Why did you choose St. Thomas?.... I loved the community aspect I felt when I was on campus and how everyone on the basketball team was constantly motivating each other and holding everyone accountable. I'm looking to improve my basketball game and make long-lasting connections throughout the college process.
What was your first impression of St. Thomas?.... I first heard of St. Thomas when speaking with Coach Sinn to come on a recruiting visit. I loved hearing about the team's passion to constantly improve skills even at the college level, something I wasn't always seeing as a focus elsewhere.
Who is your favorite athlete?.... George Niang who previously played for Iowa State. I loved comparing my play to his in that he wasn’t always the most athletic one on the court, yet his quick muscle memory moves could beat his opponents.
Who inspires you or is a role model? and Why?.... Mckenna Riebkes. She is a family friend battling cancer at age 3. If she can battle through the pain and struggles with a smile on her face than I can push myself to success.
What is your favorite meal?... Porcupine Meatballs, I know they sound weird but I promise they aren't and they're delicious!
What is on your pre-game music?.... Cyclone
Do you have any notable or unique talents or hobbies?... I like to go turkey hunting in the spring
Where have you volunteered?.... I volunteered at my church all through high school with WHIZ kids which was a child refugee tutoring program.
What is your craziest ambition or on your bucket list to do?.... I want to see fireworks from an airplane.
