Park Shogren joined the Tommie basketball coaching staff in spring 2025. This will be her first season at St. Thomas.
Shogren brings a wealth of knowledge to Tommie basketball, having experience as both a head coach and assistant coach during her career. Prior to joining St. Thomas' staff, Shogren was an assistant coach and director of player development at the University of San Diego. During her time with the Toreros, Shogren oversaw guard development and scouting and was also the program's video coordinator.
In addition to her time with in San Diego, Shogren was the head coach of the North Dakota State College of Science from 2022-2024. In two seasons, Shogren led the Wildcats ton back-to-back region and district championship titles and back-to-back NJCAA DI National Tournament appearances, while compiling an overall record of 58-12. In 2022-23, North Dakota State College of Science won a conference title and earned its first ever appearance in the Sweet Sixteen and then made a second appearance during the 2023-24 season. During her time with the Wildcats, Shogren coached 10 All-Conference and All-Region players, along with four All-Americans.
