Jason Lund enters his first season coaching for the Tommies. A native of Roseau, Minn, Coach Lund comes to St. Thomas with 21 years of military leadership experience.
He pitched on the All-Marine Corps team (SoCal Collegiate/Independent Baseball) and in semi-pro baseball in Eastern Iowa for the Muscatine Red Sox in the Black Hawk Valley Conference, as well. Lund spent several seasons umpiring and coaching high school baseball in Iowa before moving back to Minnesota.
In the last two seasons, Coach Lund has played a critical role as the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Head Legion Baseball Coach for Rogers High School in the Northwest Metro. He has contributed to the program immediately as Rogers won its first ever section 8AAAA championship in 2019. Jason’s knowledge and his recruiting experience should play a key role in adding value to the player development and team culture in the Tommie dugout.
