Tommies tab six conference honors

Puder, Bond, Recchio named first team; Roder and Marsolek second team; Fritcher honorable mention

ST. PAUL, MINN.- The Summit League office announced the 2026 end-of-year awards Tuesday, with Tommie baseball earning six honors. These awards as voted on by the league's head coaches. Adam Puder, Owen Bond, and Tanner Recchio were named to the All-Summitt League First Team; Joe Roder and Owen Marsolek earned second-team honors, and Easton Fritcher was named an All-Summit League Honorable Mention. 

Puder picked up the first Summit League honor of his career by being named to the All-Summit League Team. Adam started all 50 games for the Tommies at shortstop and hit .297 with 26 RBIs and three home runs. Puder ranked second in the league with 19 stolen bases third in doubles with 16. 

Bond delivered his strongest season yet and earned Summit League honors for the first time, being named a First Team outfielder. Bond led the league in on-base percentage with a .471 and triples with nine; Owen was second in batting average with a .352 and walks with 32. 

Recchio tabbed his third Summit League honor and was named to the All-Summit League First Team for the first time. Tanner led the league in stolen bases with 41, tied for first in runs scored with 49 and second in doubles with 17. Recchio totaled a .305 batting average from the leadoff spot. Tanner also ranks eighth in the nation in stolen bases.  

Joe Roder earned his first second team honor and third All-Summit League honor for his senior season performance. Roder hit .256 on the year with seven home runs. Joe tallied 46 RBIs, fifth most in the Summit League and he broke the career RBI record at St. Thomas with 137. 

Freshman Owen Marsolek tabbed the first Summit League honor of his career being named to the second team. Marsolek led the league in innings pitched with 76.1, and batters struck out with 82. He was also second in the conference in wins with six. 

Easton Fritcher also picked up his first Summit League honor of his career while hitting .266 on the season and tallying 40 RBIs. Fritcher also hit 5 home runs and earned 26 free passes.
