Marsolek tallies 10 strikeouts
ST. PAUL, MINN.- The St. Thomas Tommies defeated the North Dakota State Bison 3-2 on Friday afternoon. Owen Marsolek picked up the win on the mound with 10 strikeouts. Three different Tommies tallied RBIs. Zak Endres picked up the save with two strikeouts.
Scoring Summary
The Tommies opened the scoring in the third plating one off a Joe Roder sacrifice fly that brought in Tanner Recchio.
The Bison then tied the game at one in the top of the fourth via a solo home run. The Tommies then plated one in the fourth and fifth, to take a 3-1 lead. Lucas McNellis and Owen Bond picked up RBIs.
North Dakota State then responded in the sixth, cutting the Tommie lead to just one. The Tommies came away with the 3-2 victory.
