Drake Molitor
Drake Molitor enters his fourth season with Tommie Baseball and his first as Director of Operations in 2021-2022. In this role, he assists Coach Olean in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program including the supervision of student managers, equipment, apparel, travel, and other administrative duties.

A native of Lino Lakes, Minn., Molitor is a 2017 graduate of Centennial High School, where he was an infielder and team captain for the Cougars. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach for Centennial’s VFW team (2016-2018) and one season as American Legion Head Coach (2020). He joined the Tommie baseball program in 2018, spending the last three seasons as a student manager.

In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Drake managed the advanced video scouting of St. Thomas opponents. He worked primarily on defensive shifting and positioning helping the Tommies finish the 2021 season as the No. 7-ranked defense in Division III (.975 fielding percentage).

During the summer of 2019, Molitor served as a Scouting Intern for the Wareham Gatemen in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League. In this role, he scouted and evaluated some of the best collegiate talent in the country in preparation for the 2020 and 2021 MLB Amateur Drafts.

Molitor joined the Minnesota Twins as an Associate Scout in 2020. He assists the Twins in evaluating amateur baseball players across the Upper Midwest for the MLB Amateur Draft.

Molitor graduated from St. Thomas in 2021 with a B.A. in Operations and Supply Chain Management and a minor in Data Analytics. He currently resides in Lino Lakes, Minn.
