13-team field set for September 28-29
ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas women's golf is yet to be defeated in 2026 in its first two events to begin their fall campaign. The Tommies will look to keep the good times rolling in Davenport, Iowa at the 13-team Diane Thomason Invitational hosted by the University of Iowa at Davenport CC, September 28-29.

This is the second time the Tommies will be competing at the Diane Thomason Invitational. They took 10th place of 18 teams last season. Returning senior, Kathryn VanArragon, who has been on a role as of late with a pair of individual titles, took fifth place at the event last September.

St. Thomas women's golf won the Redbird Invitational in Normal, Ill., topping a 13-team field by two strokes with a 283-297-297—877 (+13) that included a tournament-best 283 (-5) in the opening round. It was the Tommies' second title in seven days after their first tournament win in nearly two years.
Kathryn VanArragon led the way, capturing first place as the only golfer in the field to finish under par at 213 (-3). She matched her single-round career best with a 68 in round two and posted the team's low score in both of the final two rounds. Freshman Ruby Reding turned in the best tournament of her career, tying for fifth at 220 (+4) after opening with a 68 that featured seven birdies.
Genevieve Birkeland made her season debut a memorable one, finishing 15th (223) behind a personal-best opening 70. Amelia Morton tied for 18th at 225, and Nicole Reineke tied for 35th at 230. Freshman Alyssa Raghuveer, competing as an individual, carded a personal-best 77 in the final round en route to a 235.
