Tommies host Roos, honor Sinn in final home game of 2025-26

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The 2025-26 season is coming to an end for head coach Ruth Sinn and the University of St. Thomas women's basketball team. The Tommies will play the Kansas City Roos in their final home game of the 2025-26 season on Wednesday, February 25, concluding the most rigorous home schedule in program history. Tipoff in Lee & Penny Anderson Arena is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
GIVEAWAYS AND PROMOTIONS: The first 100 students in attendance at Wednesday's game will receive a FREE replica jersey. Students can claim tickets for Wednesday's game now at tommiesports.com/tickets.
Additionally, St. Thomas will honor Ruth Sinn in a pregame ceremony, as the longtime head coach announced her retirement earlier this month. Wednesday will also serve as the Tommies Play4Kay game.
HOW TO WATCH
TICKETS: Tickets are still available at a 25% discount as the program celebrates 25 years of Ruth Sinn. Tickets for Wednesday's game can be purchased at www.tommiesports.com.
STREAMING: Wednesday's game will stream on the Summit League Network and the MIDCO Sports Plus app. For $29.99 per month, St. Thomas fans can purchase a Midco Sports All-In package, giving them access to the Summit League Network, CCHA TV and all Tommie football games. For $9.99 a month, fans can purchase a different package, giving them access to the Summit League Network and all Summit League women's basketball games.
TOP STORYLINES:
SINN CITY: There isn't much Sinn has not accomplished in her 21 years as head coach. Entering Wednesday's game, Sinn owns an all-time record of 421-170 with the program and successfully guided St. Thomas through the transition to Division I. She is the only female head coach in department history to eclipse 400 career wins with her respective program and was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame as a player in 1992.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: Entering Wednesday's regular-season finale, St. Thomas sits in a tie for fourth place in the Summit League standings. With one game remaining, the Tommies are in position to finish within the top five and are competing for a top-four seed in next week's Summit League Tournament.
