RV St. Thomas hits the road for to take on No. 10 Minnesota Duluth in final regular season road series

RV Tommies set to face No. 10 Bulldogs Friday & Saturday
ST. PAUL, MINN - The (RV) Tommie women's hockey team (12-17-1, 7-16-1) hit the road for the final time of the regular season to take on No. 10 Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs (15-13,3, 11-10-3). Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. Friday, February 13th and 3 p.m. Saturday, February 14th at Amsoil Arena.

Last Time Out
The Tommies are coming off a 1-0-1 weekend against the No. 3 Minnesota Gophers. This is the first time in program history that St. Thomas has earned a tie with the Minnesota.
Cara Sajevic tallied the lone Tommie goal in the 4-1 in the game one loss. She was assisted by Whitney Horton and Chloe Boreen.
St. Thomas then traveled across the river for game two at Ridder Arena where they recorded the 1-1 tie but then fell in the shootout. Freshman Whitney Horton tallied her second point on the weekend, tying the game halfway through the third period. Cara Sajevic earned her second point on the weekend with the assist along with Jenessa Gazdik.
WCHA Honors
The Tommies have received four weekly league honors so far this season. Rylee Bartz leads the way with two forwards of the week honors.
Rylee Bartz – Forward of the week (Sept. 22 & Nov. 10)

WCHA Leader Board
As a team, the Purple sits first in penalty minutes per game with the lowest in the league at 4:56, second in faceoff winning percentage at .555, third in blocked shots with a 12.87 per game average.
Individually, Rylee Bartz is third overall in face-off wins/total face-offs with 356 wins out of 606.
Ellah Hause is second in the league in blocked with 55, Jenessa Gazidk is just behind in third with 53, and Haley Maxwell in fifth with 51.
DI Era Record Holders
Rylee Bartz now holds the single season goal record with 15 in the season as she surpassed Ella Boerger's previous record with 11.
Boerger has also surpassed the single season assists record of 13 that she and Bartz previously held. Ella now has 16 assists on the season and is now the sole single season assists leader.
Rylee Bartz (66), Ella Boerger (63), and Madison Brown (53) make up the top three in career points.
Ella Boerger (40), and Rylee Bartz (33), round out the top two in D1 era assists.
Rylee Bartz leads the Tommie offense with 33 career goals in the D1 era.
Scouting the Bulldogs
The Bulldogs currently hold fifth place in the WCHA with a 15-12-3 overall record and 11-10-3 conference record. Minnesota Duluth also recently locked in home ice for the first round of WCHA playoffs.
Due to the 2026 Olympics the Bulldogs will be without top goal scorer Thea Johansson and defender Ida Karlsson who are representing Team Sweden in Milan, Italy.
Minnesota Duluth sits first in shutouts and second in blocked shots and save percentage in the WCHA standings.
History with the Bulldogs
The Tommies are 2-15-1 all-time against the Bulldogs. The two wins came in exciting fashion as they were the first two ranked wins in the Division 1 era last season on Jan. 23-24, 2025.
Earlier this season at home, the Tommies fell 4-2 in game one and 3-1 in game two.
