ST. PAUL, MINN. - The University of St. Thomas Swim and Dive team returned to Anderson Pool on Friday., November 6, kicking off a double dual weekend. The Tommie women took on Concordia St. Paul and Minnesota State, earning wins over their Division II opponents. St. Thomas downed the Mavericks 161.50-138.50 and defeated the Golden Bears 236.00-64.00 Friday evening.

The Tommies earned a clean sweep Friday afternoon, defeating both the Mavericks and Golden Bears. St. Thomas carded several top-3 performances and won all diving events en route to the victory.
- On the diving side, sophomore Maya Kelly (Lake Elmo, Minn. / Stillwater) swept both the 1-meter and the 3-meter boards, claiming first place in both events with scores of 259.50 and 289.30 respectively. Senior Hattie Opdahl (Chisago City, Minn. / Chisago Lakes) finish right behind her in second place on both boards with scores of 231.10 and 257.50.
- The 200-medley relay team of Ellie Undem (Chisago City, Minn. / Chisago Lakes), Catherine Dueck (Victoria, Minn. / Holy Family), Jordyn Davis (Cambridge), and Amber Hess (Kohler, Wis. / Kohler) started off the meet with first place finish and a time of 1:46.04.
- Once again, Undem won the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.50. She also finished second in the 100 freestyle.
- Davis continued to impress following up her relay finish, earning another first place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.18. Right behind her finishing in second was Willow Larsen (Fairfield, Iowa / Farfield) with a time of 59.28.
- Izzy Shering (Sheffield, England) swam a time of 2:13.16 to finish second in the 200 butterfly.
- In the 200-freestyle event Mary Selden (Davenport, Iowa / Davenport Central) finished first with a time of 1:57.03, and freshman Sophia Huber (Mitchell, S.D. / Mitchell) finished in second with a time of 1:57.73.
- Sophia Hayes (Naperville, Ill. / Naperville Central) swept the distance freestyle races with first place finishes in both the 500 and 100 freestyles. Tessa Lindstrom (Rosemount, Minn. / Visitation) took second in the 1000 freestyle.
- Senior Tessa Jones (Marengo, Ill. / Marian Central Catholic) finished second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:25.78.
- St. Thomas ended the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay. The team of Undem, Hess, Davis and Selden finished with a time of 1:37.17.
UP NEXT
The full St. Thomas team will return to Anderson Pool on Saturday, November 7 when the Tommies host St. Cloud State. The dual is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul, Minnesota.
