Gothard named Summit League Kwik Star Peak Swimmer of the Week

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas swim and dive put together a successful weekend at Anderson Pool. The Tommies hosted the University of South Dakota this past Friday and Saturday with several swimmers and divers putting together strong performances. One of those swimmers was Brooke Gothard (Golden, Colo. / Wheat Ridge), who was named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week.

GOTHARD'S PERFORMANCE

Gothard won two individual races and was a member of the 200 medley relay team vs. the Coyotes
Won the 50 breaststroke and 100 IM; finished second in the 100 breaststroke
Won the 50 breast with a time of 30.92
Won the 100 IM with a time of 1:00.72
First Summit League Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week honor

UP NEXT

Gothard and the St. Thomas will return to action on Saturday, January 10. The Tommies will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa to take on Northern Iowa and Iowa State. The triangular is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. CT.
