ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Thomas track & field programs continue the indoor season with a multi-day meet Jan. 30-31 at the Mark Schuck Open and Multi hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato. Friday's events begin at 1 p.m. followed by a 10 a.m. start time on Saturday from Myers Field House in Mankato, Minn.

St. Thomas continued its strong early-season momentum Saturday at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet, posting podium finishes on both the men's and women's sides and adding another program record in a third-place showing for each squad in Brookings, S.D. The Tommies produced a mix of event wins, top-five finishes and program-ranking performances in a Summit League-heavy field.
The Tommie women placed third among five teams, highlighted by an event victory and a program record. Senior Olivia Keller reset her own school mark in the 800 meters with a time of 2:10.75, ranking second in the Summit League this season, while Danika Apple claimed the 60-meter dash title in 7.55. St. Thomas totaled eight top-five finishes and stacked multiple top-10 marks, including No. 2 program performances from Olivia Pauly in the 3,000 meters, Brooke Wisdom in the pole vault and freshman Aliana French in the shot put, with additional top-10 showings from Alexis Pratt, Cassia Cady, Tessa Campbell, Layla Vennink and the 4x400-meter relay.
The Tommie men also finished third, led by a top-five effort from sophomore Riddik Collier, who placed third in the 60-meter dash after running 6.91 in qualifying and 6.93 in the final. Freshman Barak Barner added a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles while posting the No. 5 time in program history, as St. Thomas continued to build depth across the sprints and middle distances with program- and league-ranking performances from Jayson Koel, Johnny Bezdicek, Landon Deneen and Brock Bjerke.
