Cross Country begins 2025 season Saturday at Phoenix Open

St. Thomas races begin at 11:30 a.m. hosted by Green Bay
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Thomas cross country opens its 2025 season Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Phoenix Open hosted by Green Bay.
The Tommie men and women begin their races at 11:30 a.m. from the Phoenix Alumni Cross Country Course at Shorewood Park in Green Bay, Wis. The women start with the 6K race at 11:30 a.m. followed by the men's 8K race at 12:30 p.m.

Preparing for 2025
The Summit League announced its 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll August 27, slotting St. Thomas women's and men's cross country programs fifth and sixth, respectively.
The Tommie women received 27 points to finish ahead of Omaha, Oral Roberts and Kansas City. The Tommie men totaled 16 points to finish ahead of Kansas City. South Dakota State, North Dakota State and North Dakota were each picked to finish first, second and third, respectively, in both the men's and women's polls.
Junior Elsie Kmecak and sophomore Olivia Pauly were tabbed the Tommie Women Athletes to Watch while juniors Adam Lueth and Max Westerlund were named the Athletes to Watch for the men's program.
