Tommie Cross Country announces 2026 schedule

Men, women set for 10-meet slate highlighted by Summit League Championship in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The University of St. Thomas Men's and Women's Cross Country teams have announced their 2026 schedules, featuring trips to Iowa State and Notre Dame, along with the opportunity to host the Summit League Championships for the first time on Oct. 31 in St. Paul.
The season begins Sept. 4 as the Tommie men open the year at the Dragon Twilight in Moorhead, Minn. The women begin their campaign one week later at the Phoenix Open on Sept. 12 in Green Bay, Wis.
Both squads come together for the Cyclone Open on Sept. 18 in Ames, Iowa, before traveling to one of the nation's premier regular-season meets, the Joe Piane Invitational, on Oct. 2 in South Bend, Ind.
The women continue their season at the Legends Invite on Oct. 10 in Decorah, Iowa, while both teams return to competition together at the Pink Classic on Oct. 16 in Peoria, Ill. The women's regular season concludes at the Winona State Classic on Oct. 23 in Winona, Minn.
The Tommies will then welcome the Summit League to St. Paul for the 2026 Summit League Championships on Oct. 31. More information about the Summit League Championships will become available at a later date.
Postseason competition continues with the NCAA West Regional on Nov. 13 in Ames, Iowa. The season concludes Nov. 21 at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind.
