(RV) Football travels to Northern Michigan for next contest

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The road trip continues for the University of St. Thomas football team. The Tommies, who received votes in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top-25 pol are once again on the road this weekend, as they head to Marquette, Michigan for this week's duel with Northern Michigan University. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT at the Superior Dome.
HOW TO WATCH
Tickets are still available for Saturday's contest and can be purchased on Northern Michigan's official athletics website.
STREAMING: Saturday's game will stream on FloSports, a subscription based platform that costs $29.99 per month or $150 per year. Subscription process my vary.
RADIO: Fans can listen to Saturday's game between St. Thomas and Northern Michigan on 1500 ESPN and through the Varsity Network App.

TOP STORY LINES:
POLL POSITION: St. Thomas impressed through its first two weeks of competition. The Tommies defeated (RV) Lindenwood 35-13 in their home opener before battling to the very end in a 37-30 loss at #10/11 Idaho. As a reward, St. Thomas received votes in the latest AFCA Top-25 Coaches Poll, released early Monday morning. It's the first time the Tommies received votes since the 2023 preseason poll.
RETURN TO THE SCENE: St. Thomas earned its first win of the Division I era in Michigan. Houghton, Michigan to be exact. The Tommies defeated Michigan Tech 12-9 to earn their first win of 2021. This was the first win of the program's Division I era and their first win over a scholarship program. St. Thomas is 2-0 all-time against Michigan-based teams since making the jump to Division I in 2021 and 4-1 against Division II opponents in that same span.
