Tommies fall to Minnesota 3-0 on the road

ST.PAUL, MINN. – St. Thomas falls 3-0 in a hard found battle on the road at Minnesota. All three goals were scored in the second half. Goalkeeper Olivia Rowe recorded 13 saves.
QUICK HITS: Graduate student goalkeeper Olivia Rowe had a career night for the Tommies. She set a new career save record of 13. Seven of those saves came in the first half alone.
SCORING SUMMARY:
First Half: The Tommies defense was lights out in the first half to keep the game knotted at zero. Olivia Rowe recorded seven saves in goal in the first half alone.
Second Half: The Gophers broke the tie scoring in the 71st minute. Minnesota then scored again in the 76th minute. The third goal was scored off a penalty kick to make the score 3-0.
TOP TOMMIES
- Olivia Rowe (Ramsey, Minn./Anoka)- recorded 13 saves. A new career high.

The Tommies will host Northern Illinois for the first home game of the season Thursday, August 21. Kickoff will be at 3:00 p.m. CT at South Field.
