Nine Tommies earn All-Summit League honors

Tommie Baseball finishes regular season on top of the Summit League, earns nine conference honors
ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas Baseball earned nine honors on the 2025 All-Summit League Teams. Sophomores, Marcus Kruzan and Matthew Maulik were selected to the first team. Seniors, Joe Vos and Brigs Richartz, junior, Zak Endres, sophomore Tanner Recchio and freshman Riane Ritter landed on the second team. Graduate Student, Max Moris and junior, Joe Roder were named honorable mentions.
Matthew Maulik earned a spot on the All-Summit League first team. The sophomore recorded 30 hits, including four doubles and six home runs, and totaled 24 RBI for the Tommies. This is the second All-Summit League honor of Maulik's career.
Marcus Kruzan was named to the All-Summit League first team. Kruzan led the league in wins (7) and recorded 51 strikeouts over 63.0 innings of work.
Joe Vos led the Tommies with a .327 batting avg., .910 OPS, 37 hits, 62 total bases, and a .549 SLG% in conference play, earning a spot on the All-Summit second team.
Brigs Richartz recorded a .321 batting avg., 36 hits, five doubles, and four home runs in Summit League play his senior season.
Zak Endres recorded 27 strikeouts over 29.0 innings in conference play. The junior posted a 2.79 ERA, holding batters to a .206 batting avg.
Tanner Recchio was named All-League second team for the second time in his career after an impressive sophomore season. The second baseman ranked top-five in the Summit League in recorded stolen bases (20) and runs (28) in his second season in Purple.
In his first collegiate season, Riane Ritter held batters to a.232 batting avg., totaling 49 strikeouts and posting a 3.35 ERA in conference play.
Max Moris was named an All-Summit League honorable mention. Moris played and started in all 30 conference games. The graduate student led the league in putouts (252). Moris recorded 31 hits and 22 RBI in his final season with St. Thomas.
Joe Roder was also named an All-Summit League honorable mention as a first baseman. Roder started in all 30 league games, posting a .304 batting avg., 35 hits, 11 doubles, and conference-leading 35 RBI in Summit League play.
The Tommies finished in first place in the Summit League after being selected second place in the preseason coaches' poll. St. Thomas is the first Summit League baseball program to win back-to-back regular season titles since Oral Roberts did so in 2017 and 2018.
