Maulik, Ritter named Summit League Peak Players of the Week

Tommies sweep Kwik Star Summit League Weekly honors
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Sophomore Matthew Maulik and freshman Riane Ritter have been named Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performers of the Week for their strong performances over the week as announced by the league office of Monday.
Ritter has been named Pitcher of the Week, as Maulik picks up Performer of the Week.
In four games played this week, Maulik slashed a combined .500/.600/.917 for an OPS of 1.517. He went 6-12 with a home run, 11 total bases and three RBI
Ritter helped the Tommies to a sweep of North Dakota State over the week, picking up his fifth win of the season. Ritter tallied six strikeouts, allowing one hit while shutting out the Bison over 7.0 innings on Saturday.
The weekly awards are the first of both Maulik's and Ritter's career.
