Moris tallies two hits, four RBI against the Hawkeyes
Iowa opened scoring at its home stadium, tallying seven runs across the first three innings at Duane Banks Field.
Max Moris drove in the Tommies' first runs of the game, recording a 2-RBI double in the top of the third.
Iowa held the 7-2 advantage until the bottom of the sixth frame. Posting a four-run inning, the Hawkeyes gained the 11-2 lead through six.
With his second 2-RBI double of the game, Moris lifted the Tommies to a three-run seventh frame.
After adding one in the bottom of the seventh, Iowa added three runs in the eighth, defeating St. Thomas 15-5.
Moris and Ben Vujovich each tallied two hits, and combined for five RBI against Iowa on Wednesday.
