Barnstable, Blue named to Summit League All-Tournament Team

Duo averaged 15.0 points per game each during run to title game
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Guards Miles Barnstable and Kendall Blue were named to the Summit League All-Tournament Team the league announced following the title game.
The duo averaged 15.0 points per game each to help the Tommies (24-9, 12-4 Summit League) advance to their first ever Summit League Championships title game against Omaha.
Barnstable, a junior from Sheboygan, Wis., added 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steal per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the field with nine 3-pointers. He began his tournament with a team-high 17 points against Denver in the quarterfinal round and scored 14 points against North Dakota in the semifinals and 14 against Omaha in the title game. Barnstable grabbed at least five rebounds and sank three 3-pointers in each game.
Blue, a junior from East Ridge, Minn., pulled down 4.3 rebounds per game to go along with 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He made 8-of-11 free throws, shot 44.4 percent overall and totaled two blocks. Blue opened with 15 points, including three 3-pointers, against Denver and followed with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting against North Dakota. He neared his third career double-double in the championship game with 10 rebounds and nine points in addition to three assists, one block and one steal.
