Tommie Trifecta: Minessale selected Summit Performer of the Week

Sophomore guard earns third weekly award from Summit League
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League's weekly award returns to St. Thomas for the nation's leader in total points as sophomore guard Nolan Minessale was named the Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week for the third time this season, the league office announced Tuesday.
Minessale averaged 22.5 points on a Summit League high 68.0 percent shooting, which included a 23-point win over Weber State to close out the Big Sky-Summit Challenge.
Minessale scored a career high 32 points on 12-of-16 shooting with 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks during the 88-65 win over WSU. The scoring performance tied the program's Division I era single-game record and was the sixth 30-point game since 2021-22. It was also the first 30-point game in the Summit League this season. Minessale produced 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting with 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds to begin the week Dec. 3 at Montana State.
St. Thomas returns to action at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 against Saint John's (MN).
