Rudzitis named Summit League Kwik Star Offensive Performer of the Week

Senior hitter collects second weekly offensive award of 2025
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior right side hitter Tezra Rudzitis collected her second Summit League Kwik Star Offensive Peak Performer of the Week honor of the season following a career performance over the weekend, the league office announced Tuesday.
Rudzitis, who won the league's first offensive performer of the week honor of 2025, did it again as she averaged a league-high 4.92 kills per set over a 1-1 week against South Dakota and Kansas City. She hit .434 from the floor and totaled 4.92 points per set, second best in the Summit League over the weekend. The Tommies have now won the weekly offensive award four times this season and six times since 2023.
Rudzitis began her week with nine kills and 10.0 points against South Dakota before setting career highs of 19 kills, a .720 hitting percentage and 19.5 points during a Tommie sweep at Kansas City. Her kills, hitting percentage and points were the most by a Summit League student-athlete in a match over the weekend.
Rudzitis leads the Summit League and ranks 100th nationally hitting .350 from the floor this season.
The Tommies are 8-3 in the Summit League and 15-7 overall this season with five matches left in the regular season. St. Thomas hosts Denver on Nov. 6 and South Dakota State on Nov. 8 from Schoenecker Arena.
