Maxwell ties a season-high with four blocks
ST. PAUL MINN. - The No. 15 St. Thomas Tommies (8-9-0, 3-8-0) fall 7-0 to No. 1 Wisconsin Badgers (13-1-1, 9-1-1) on Thursday night.
Scoring Summary:
First Period: Both teams had chances in their offensive zones early but the Badgers struck first scoring the first goal of the contest nine minutes in before adding another with just three minutes left in the period before tacking on the final goal of the period with just 26.2 seconds left to take a 3-0 lead into the break.
Second Period: The Badgers extended their lead to 4-0 scoring once in the period.
Third Period: Wisconsin quickly added to their lead scoring just a minute and 30 seconds into the final frame to take a 5-0 lead. After the Tommies shut down the first four power plays but Badgers scored their sixth goal of the night during their fifth power play opportunity to take a 6-0 lead. Wisconsin then scored again at 11:51 to take a 7-0 lead. The Badgers then scored the final goal of the game on a power play with just 1:30 left in the game.

The Tommies will be back for game two against the Badgers tomorrow, Friday, November 21st. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m.
