Women’s Tennis falls to South Dakota in final home match of the season

Ma and Paradise remain dominant in singles action in the 5-2 defeat
Bloomington, Minn. -- The St. Thomas women's tennis team played its final home match of the season on Monday afternoon. In the senior day match, the Coyotes secured the early lead and earned a 5-2 win over the Tommies.

South Dakota earned the doubles point, taking the early lead in Monday's Summit League match up.
In the No. 4 and 5 singles positions, Olivia Paradise and Yinong Ma continued to lead the Tommies. Paradise defeated Caves of South Dakota by scores of 7-5 and 6-3.
Ma won her first set 6-2 and battled to defeat the Coyote's Chadick, 7-5 to secure a second match victory for St. Thomas. Ma moves to 13-4 overall and Paradise holds a 9-6 singles record for Purple this season.

St. Thomas travels to Nebraska next weekend, facing Omaha and Creighton in a set of weekend matches.
